The Newtown and Chilwell Cricket Club has two hard wickets teams, the Third and Fourth XIs, which play for club championship points. Their home ground is Shaw Oval at Queens Park. The Fifth and Sixth XIs play in stand-alone hard wicket one-day competitions.
